LDS Conferance Center Damage is $500,000 BY FIRE AND WATER
16 April 2012 The FIRE started in the control room above the pulpit that also provides back up power for the building. Once this area caught on fire, two sprinklers right over the pulpit went off pouring thousands of gallons of water down on the pulpit causing much water damage. Damage is $500,000.

Aug. 25, 2011 - The tops of three spires were reportedly broken off and actually fell to the ground, as did several slabs of marble from the temple's exterior.
